WHP1000 Pre-Heating Plate

Introducing the WHP 1000 pre-heating plate from Weller. A superb device designed to raise the correct working temperature of PCB’s and enable electronic assemblies to be pre-heated prior to repair. Upon inspection, the WHP 1000 offers 4 heating elements each with 250 W of power ideal for use with ceramic and glass boards.

Why is the Pre-Heating Plate important?

Pre-heating plates offer so many benefits such as; components set to the correct working temperature thus ensuring perfect soldering conditions and vastly reduce damage to the PCBs from thermal shock. Ideally, they should be considered as a vital accessory for soldering / de-soldering applications.

Compatibility

An integrated RS232 interface enables the device to be controlled externally from the Weller WHA 3000P / WHA 3000V hot air station.
Using an insulated thermocouple Type K the temperature can be monitored in specific locations on the board - RS stock no: 443-7967
