4501 Programming Display

PR Electronics 4501 signal converter programming module configures and calibrates devices in the 4000 and 9000 series as well as the 3114 signal conditioner. Operation is simple with three pushbuttons and an LCD display with scrolling text, in 7 languages, which guides the user effortlessly through all the configuration steps. Provide access to advanced configuration directly in the process and allow the user to copy the configuration to other devices.


For new or existing installations of the various PR Electronics 4000/9000 signal conditioning devices, the 4501 represents an easy way to go digital. Not only is it cost-efficient and safe, but it is also easy to implement and use.

The 4501 programming interface simply snaps on without the need for tools. The 4501 instantly detects the device settings and process values, while the intuitive, fully programmable front display makes signal conditioning simple. Once connected the 4501 interface is used to set or modify operational parameters, simulate inputs and monitor devices, all while maintaining connected equipment.

Save time by saving an existing configuration in the 4501 programming interface and load that configuration into a similar 4000 or 9000 series device by following a few simple steps.


The 4501 programming tool lets you perform digital calibration on the 4000 and 9000 series as well as the 3114 unit with a few simple pushbutton actions. Guided by a simple step by step on device menu, you can opt for a full calibration (low/high), or a single high or low calibration.

Connecting the 4501 to the 4590 ConfigMate (7967039) interface allows direct connection to a PC providing several options:
• Print calibration and configuration reports directly from the computer
• The report shows the pre-calibration error to 5 decimal places
• You can add a wealth of information to the calibration report: technician's name, tag number, serial numbers of test equipment used, and much more.

Mounting / Installation

The 4501 programming display simply clicks onto the front of the signal conditioning device. Once mounted the 4501 interface automatically energises and establishes a communication link. The device is now ready to configure the selected signal conditioning module.

To remove the programming interface push the release button on the bottom of the device and swing upwards. The programmer can now be clipped to any other 4000 or 9000 series signal conditioner.
