H-BE/H-DD Hoods and Cable Glands. PG and Metric versions

From Contact Connectors, this hood and cable gland kit is for use with Contact Epic H-BE and H-DD connector inserts. The hoods have integrated pips to connect securely to corresponding connector housing levers.

H-BE / H-DD Hoods & Housings

HBE connectors are type tested to 16A, 440Vac, and are available complete in kit form and as individual parts.

Aluminium alloy construction
Metric versions also available
High construction versions allow the use of bulky multicore cable and are ideally suited for use with the high density H-DD inserts

These hoods and housings will accept either plug or socket inserts from the H-BE 440Vac 16A screw termination inserts, or the H-DD 250Vac 10A high density crimp termination inserts.
The cable glands seal to IP65. Panel mount bases include a rubber gasket for sealing.
All this allows for a wide variety of commercial and industrial applications.
