EBM013 Capacitive Touch Pads Sensor Module

The EBM013 is a sensor module that features two capacitive touch pads.

Note: The EBM013 must be used with a microcontroller that has the appropriate capacitive touch circuitry such as the PIC16F1937 series of 8-bit microcontrollers.

Note

This sensor is also included within the EBM1000 E-block Sensors Bundle (889-2999). The kit includes the entire range of e-blocks sensor modules with the EB090 Sensor Mother Board.

E-blocks EBMxxx Sensor Modules

A range of Matrix E-blocks sensor modules which are intended for use with the EB090 E-block Sensor Mother Board (889-2905). Any two individual sensor modules can be plugged into an EB090 E-block board allowing upstream access to various analogue and digital sensors.

Matrix Techonlogy E-Blocks

E-blocks from Matrix Technology are small circuit boards with a block of electronics that are typically found in an electronic or embedded system. They be quickly snapped together to form a fully functioning systems and this ease of use makes them ideal for rapid prototyping.

Currently there are more than 50 E-Block boards available. From simple LED boards to sensors, Bluetooth, Motor Control, RFID, LCD Display, WiFi, GPS and many more. Whether you are PIC or Arduino programming or working with other hardware platforms there is sure to be something to suit your needs.

E-blocks are supported with software (including PIC, dsPIC, ARM and AVR Arduino IDE, Flowcode) and courseware.
