Centigrid® RF Relay - Latching RF180 and GRF180 Series

Teledyne's latching Centigrid® RF180 and GRF180 relays are hermetically sealed, ultra-miniature, magnetic latching RF relays with extremely low internal circuit losses for exceptional RF performance through and beyond the UHF spectrum and into the S band.
The relays can be operated with a
short duration pulse and once the DPDT latching contacts have transferred, no coil power is required. The magnetic latching feature of the RF180 and GRF180 provides a non-volatile memory capability, the relays will not reset upon removal of coil power.
Their low profiles and 2.54mm Centigrid® pitch make them ideal for use when close PCB spacing is required. The through hole mount RF180 (stock number 758-2506) has a 7.62mm profile while the surface mount GRF180 (stock numbers 758-2486 and 758-2477) have a 8.64mm profile height.
The surface mount GRF180 Centigrid® relay features a unique ground shield that isolates and shields each lead to ensure excellent contact-to-contact and pole-
to-pole isolation. This ground shield provides a ground interface that results in improved high frequency performance as well as parametric repeatability.
The latching RF180 and GRF180 are robust to shock, vibration and temperature extremes for use in space applications and other demanding environments. They are engineered for use in RF attenuators, RF switch matrices, automated test equipment, spacecraft and other applications that require magnetic latching with dependable high frequency signal and performance.
