Sensata/Cynergy 3 SSF212 Series Horizontal Stainless Steel Float Switch, Float, 1m Cable, NO/NC, 300V ac Max, 350V dc

A simple electro-mechanical device for liquid level switching in high and low-level applications. These float switches consist of a reed switch and a pivoted actuator magnet and can be used for N/O or N/C operation. The switch action can be reversed rotating the switch through 180°.

Suitable for signal switching and for use with transistorised input/low power, suppressed coil miniature relays. Not suited for any inductive or inrush (e.g. filament lamps) loads.

Use this horizontal float switch from Sensata Cynergy3 for precise liquid level detection in industrial tanks. You can use this sensor to keep levels in tanks within safe parameters, preventing underfills or overfills. It works by triggering the opening or closing of valves when fluid reaches a predetermined level. For versatility, you can change its operation from NO (make on rise) to NC (make on fall) or vice versa by simply rotating the switch 180º. This component is commonly used in water treatment facilities as well as in chemical processing plants.

This float switch is designed for mounting from the outside of the tank via a 1/2-inch NPT thread. This makes it a good option for situations where you don't have access to the interior of a tank.
