ST II-Compatible Connector

Multimode ST® compatible connector which offers low installed cost and high performance. The connector offers excellent repeatability and is supplied with a high quality PC (physical contact) finish on advanced ceramic ferrule which ensures outstanding reflection characteristics. Each connector is suitable for mounting to 900mm secondary coated fibre and 3mm jacketed cable, with a separate adaptor available for mounting to 2·5mm cable. Designed for ease of termination, field assembly is quick and all the essential tooling is available in this section with the procedure outlined in an data sheet. A suitable interchangeable die set is offered for crimping the connector using crimp tool 242-0125.
