Panasonic SG Series Electric Double Layer Capacitors

Panasonic SG electric double layer capacitors (known as gold capacitors) can be compared to secondary batteries and provide the highest level of volumetric efficiency. No charging circuit is required and there is no limit to the number of charge and discharge cycles. SG supercapacitors utilise the release and absorption reaction of ions and do not rely on a chemical reaction to create current.
