RS Components Appoints Richard Huxley as Regional General Manager, Asia
Malaysia, 6 November 2006 :
RS Components (RS), the largest global catalogue distributor of electronic, electromechanical and industrial products in Asia, announced today that Richard Huxley has been appointed as Regional General Manager, Asia Pacific. Richard will play a pivotal role in driving the ambitious growth plans for RS Asia including Japan.
Prior to joining RS, Richard held the position of VP Marketing for Arrow Electronics, Asia Pacific. He moved to Asia in 2002 where he played a leading role in establishing and building the Arrow Alliance Business Unit in the region. Prior to this, he held various senior positions in several of Arrow's different business units in Europe. Before joining Arrow in 1998, Richard spent eight years in the semi-conductor industry with Hitachi and Samsung in various sales and marketing roles.
